I'm now approaching 6K miles on my current belt and from wear check on the original as well as my current one, Yamaha can stand behind that warranty as far as it not breaking\wearing out.
They should stand behind it but the warranty language specifically calls out modifications (of all types) as warrantless claims. Either way, the belt doesnt cost mush at all...the upsides far outweigh any negatives.

They make them for the 850 and 708 , but I think we are speaking of the 850 here.

Any news on availability for the power vision? I installed my HW sheave this past weekend, pretty easy actually.

PV has been finished since last month. They welded in my O2 bung this week for the wide band sensor for auto tune. Dynojet is dropping my X2 off to my place this Friday. I'll ask them then when they're selling it to the public. Yeah the sheave install is easy. The PITA is removing everything to get to it.

Ok great, itching to get my hands on it ha ha ha. Agreed, it takes almost 4 times the amount of time removing panels and components then it does to prep and swap the sheave. Told my wife 20-30 mins... 3 hours later I got the death stare ha ha ha.

The word I have gotten is February 1st for Dynojet Power Vision release. Plug and play over the diagnostic port. No more mailing out your ECU for updates. You'll be able to save your existing tune then write over the Weller and Alba I'm told.
