    TPS sensor on the throttle if off a bit might aggrevate this. Its too hard to get at to tweak. I looked for mine and lot of disassemble is required to even reach it. Left it alone, as mine did not have that problem but stalled twice after a stop at road crossings, another time when the throttle was pushed let go before motion occurred. Odd but not repeatable and hasn't occurred for some time.

    Mine starts, runs for 2-4 sec and dies, if left to cool down completely. Can immediately start it back up and idles just fine. Ambient air temps only down to 5° so far. Tried the "wait for the gauge progression" and it was no different here.
    If warm it'll fire right up and idle like normal.

    My local service guy called it Yamaha Drama. Across every FI model, Yama makes they are subject to this. From looking through these posts he is most likely right.

    He is right, they all do it. Probably a fuel issue with the fuel pump and supply/return lines.
