Papa thx for update....just made me think...wouldn't it be nice to have a sight glass fill plug or a screw-down tight dipstick to be able to check the diff oil quickly. Or a sturdy drain valve to see if there is some milk.

Ugh, I still haven’t done mine. I haven’t even started it up since May. Every time I go in the garage I can feel it glaring at me. This is the least amount of riding I’ve done in 8 years and the least amount of wrenching on the wolvy since I joined the forum. Hopefully I get around to it this year. Work has kept me too busy lately.

Since you don't have a particular ride date goal... it seems at times to be good therapy in Garage, so maybe do it in stages as you have the time. Tear it down assess what parts are needed one evening and then order parts. Clean driveshaft and get it ready for a 1/2 hour one evening, etc. get parts. Then clean Very well and install seal and put in yoke with sealers one evening and then wrestle the thing back in another time. Before you know it, it will be done.
