What is the oem rev limit? I saw yours was 8k when looking weeks ago if memory serves. Running in that zone give you what. More Torque/HP or merely more speed.

STock is 6800 and you won't be anywhere near that 800, around 7100 at top speed, you run out of power. You just get a couple mph is all.

The main selling point of the PCV is fixing the lean condition and if you get a little more speed that is a bonus. We also mapped for folks going under water not getting a flame out as we call it through the exhaust.

Well I am waiting to put some Km on mine this spring/summer. Its still under 200km on it. I don't want to risk any warranty issue the dealer gave me for it either. Its quite and expensive option given the cost is X $1.37 Cnd plus shipping. Maybe if find a big cash of cash but not likely. I asked the dealer about it before buying it and said Yamaha has taken care of that as well as other concerns I had.

I don't drive that fast but do enjoy some short burst on stretch dead flat and straight now and then. Those might be 80 - 90km/hr if it will do it. I had it only to 65km/hr one winter day in Dec. But its been too cold and snowmobile got our for a while (can't use the trail with them). Its a river of ice now where it didn't melt to the ground/gravel. Spring will be my next outing but limited as the ground thaws.

I just installed the hmf exhaust 2 days ago but have not had a chance to ride yet to see if it’s noticible.

    HI Dan,

Do you have any impression on that HMF Exhaust yet?

I love it. It’s a little throatier than the stock exhaust but not terribly louder. It looks damn good too.
