    New member – 2019 Wolverine X2 Spec Question

    Hello,

    I am a new member, and a new owner of a 2019 Wolverine Yamaha X2 Spec.

    We were on vacation when I purchased the vehicle and we easily got the 20 hours on the vehicle while on vacation. When we returned I took it back to the dealer and for the oil change and service it was over $300.

    My question is about the oil change so I can save some serious money. I have research the Internet and read the manual and I'm somewhat confused.

    I know that you have to drain the oil tank, however underneath the vehicle you have to drain the engine oil. In the book it shows draining the oil from one bolt, however some of the videos show two bolts on the 2018 model.

    When I look underneath the vehicle or I would drain the engine oil from, there are two bolts on my 2019. There in the same opening, one bolt sets up a little higher than the other.

    My question is, do I only drain the engine oil from the one bolt, or do I have to drain it from both bolts? One of the text from Yamaha tells me both bolts, well other people just tell me it's the one bolt.

    If anybody could clarify this I would be deeply grateful. Feel free to elaborate as much as you want to so that I can understand what I need to do.
