Well, I have some good news and I have some bad news.....
The good news first! The Swingout tire carrier is about 95% complete

Now the Bad News... I will not be finishing this for my 2019 X2. I thought the mounting point would be strong enough on the X2 bed frame. However, with the weight of the tire and wheel coming in at 30lbs (I know it is steel) + the tire carrier itself at 10lbs and the bumper at 20lbs this is just too much weight on the bed frame. I thought with a payload of 600 lbs it should have been fine... If I drive this thing on smooth pavement it should not crack anything for a long time. However, I am going to be on Michigan ORV trails and they are not smooth, to say the least! Somebody prove me wrong! In the meantime, I will still rock the bumper and I might modify the tire carrier to accommodate something else.
    On a positive note,
Now I know I can make a Bumper/Swing-out Tire carrier for my 4Runner when I get it!
On another note. I would like to see the underside of an X4 and a first-gen Wolverine. They do not have a tilt bed. I believe with a simple modification this combo will work just fine!

PS. I did get my new antenna for my Baofeng radio!

Yes especially with that antenna! However, these are banned from the US as of Oct 1st, 2019. Now you need a Ham radio license to transmit with this radio. You can still buy these but they will not have the same capabilities as the ones purchased before October 1st, 2019. I am in the process of studying for my license.

I did check the mounting bolts and they were a little loose. So I tightened those and that helped a little bit. After further inspection, I see where it is flexing the most. I am 90% sure I have a fix. I am going to redesign the mounting brackets. This should help out a lot! If not No Worries.

Maybe you just need to add a removable slide in bracket to the hitch receiver, slide in and pin on the receiver end, with a flat slotted slide bracket on bottom of bumper. Then the carrier will still swing away freely, in and out of the slotted connection on the bottom of the bumper, and it will reinforce the load, and when removed, the bed will tilt.

Looks too good to abandon the idea. Maybe a modified off set hitch extension?

I have seen those. I wanted a swing-out Tc so I can still utilize the trailer hitch.
The fab work and the design are all part of a bigger picture!

That probably explains why they're isn't any for sale on their Canadian website. I've used the little frs ones from Motorola, but they suck, they are basically a toy for kids. I was excited to see these.
