New windshield option
This is a discussion on New windshield option within the Yamaha Wolverine Builds forums, part of the Yamaha Wolverine Gen 1 708 cc SxS category; Anybody try this one on a X4?
Just got my ride yesterday and haven't decided on a windshield yet. I have a half windshield on my rzr and works fine and are less than half the price of the full windshield. I'm also in the south. I was told the full windshields make it so dust and stuff will circle around and blow in the back but that was on a rzr site. Anyone with experience with that on the x4?
I rode last Friday on dusty dirt and gravel roads and trails. The cab wasn't bad except for dust from the rider in front of me. I do have a soft back window. Everything in the bed was covered with dust as well as the soft window. I have a folding windshield and folded it down. Was around 80° so the air was nice. I think with a windshield and no back window, you will get lots of dust in the cab.

I have a x4 came with a full windshield up front and it really sucks the trail up for the back seats. I was looking at a soft back windshield to help with the dust. Also the looking at that vented windshield. But now that Yamaha has an oem flip I’m looking at that as well. Just need to cut down on the dust for the rear. I live in the south so it gets hot and I want the air flow. That’s the thing holding me back on the soft rear windshield. Is the wind still good with the soft rear and a full front windshield?
