Ok you guys got me curious.
I wasn't going to install do to time constraints, but now I gotta see.

I was going to take measurements, angles and such, but don't have time.
Installed front brackets, pretty simple. Only thing I notice is the spacer for the small bolt has slop and rattles. I tried adding a small/thin fender washer, but not enough room. Probably only .008-.012 gap when everything is tight, but it flops around until it fills with mud...lol.

Going to do the back after a beer break and see what I run into.
Wheel spacer aren't coming until Monday.

    Same issue on the rear.
    I used all grade 8 hardware. Replaced bolt w/ 3/8-16x 1-1/4".
I bolted the large bolts up and checked for square. I had to add qty 6 - 3/8" grade 8 washers to get it true. Not enough room to get a 7th washer in, but 6 was close enough.
*tip, install your spacer washers when everything is good and loose.

**note, I'm running 5+2 wheels w/ 28x11-14 tires. Tires only measure slightly over 10" wide and with the shock in the outside hole, springs rub at full droop.
Checked mail and thank goodness wheel spacers are coming today....lol
    Something to look at <<<

Edit: Verified rear tire width, measures 10-3/4" @ 10 psi, off the ground and @ full droop. Spring rubs tire hard.

This is one of possibilities when being a Guinea Pig. Fortunately it's not a major item to correct. Hopefully they'll include the proper bolts/washers/nuts on all future orders.

Total cost 4$ for the modification. 8 washers and two bolts got it all at Home Depot.

Okay so this isn't just an X4 problem it must be the pre 2020 year models. I did notice in the instructions with the bent lips on the shock mounts and the extra frame gussets that that must be a 2020 model in the pictures in the instructions. I used a 35 mm long M10 bolt as well in that spot it fit perfectly. I stacked five washers on each side on mine.

I actually at first tighten it all the way down and it actually pulled over to the frame and sat good but it had a slight angle. Frederick said it would be fine with the slight angle after sending him the pictures. Then decided to do it to make it straight to be extra safe espcially with what little effort it really takes to make it straight.

It's no big deal to me really. Just something to make others aware of.
I took if for a quick spin around town, but don't think the shocks have settle in yet as I'm still over 1-1/4" that Paul measured.
Going on a night ride in a few hours, so they'll get a work out then.

I'm happy with how it's designed and built to be honest and glad to have the added clearance.
Thanks to Perfex, Greggo and all those involved with helping get us a lift.

I took lift measurements this morning after riding all night.
The bed is loaded and the car looks to be setting level, but measurements aren't coming out right.
Front was 12" now 13-7/8" for a gain of 1-7/8" higher
Rear was 12-1/4" now 12-7/8" for a gain of 5/8"

I did add 1-1/2" spacers on the rear and set fast speed compression to full soft.
Don't know what's going on, maybe after I have a little hair of the dog it will come to me....lol.

Have you measured the bolt old to new difference of the physical lift gain added. Is it 2" or....

Shock damping certainly has no effect on how much lift you gain/loose by making changes. If the weight in the rear is the same (approx within 50lbs) you should have seen close to the amount in lift after installing it. Otherwise the springs compressing even more due to the added pressure by adding a lift. Are the springs variable rate type if you can tell?

    Springs are KYB progressive.
Pic of bolt hole measurements. Maybe someone that hasn't installed can verify as I'm eyeballin' bolt centers w/ a tape.
