    Dash digital display

Has anybody had their dash display die on them? I went out the other morning and all was well. When I went to head home, I turned the key and the display didn’t come on. I heard the file pump engage, and the engine started fine, so I went home.

Adapt your machine to how you intend to use it.
Every mod you do to a machine will have gains somewhere and losses in other areas.
Decide what you want and what you can live with or without.

check the fuse , the dash display runs on a 10 AMP fuse . Could be a simple fix .

If it is the fuse. It begs the question. Why did it blow?

If no accessories were added to the machine which may have triggered an over current if patched into the same fuse circuit. There is an underlying problem or a wire rubbing shorting out somewhere. Fuses don't blow without a reason. On the Gen 1 the aux pickup used is alway the lighter socket power for that reason. If it overload (unlikely if powering relays only) its not critical. We leave all the other circuits alone unless they are there unused as the backup light kit was.
