    My New X4

Hey all here are a couple of pics of my new rig. I'm happy with her so far. We all find it comfortable. This being my first sxs...are they all sorta loud in the cab? Like having to raise your voice to talk to other passengers?? Thanks again

You've got the quietest rig, the Gen 1 Wolverines like mine are much louder. You can also add sound deadening in the tunnel areas and make it quieter.

Very nice ride and as MORSNO said they are the quietest around. Other models are way louder. My old Rhino would drive ya nuts. Couldn't hear yourself think. I've never ridden in one with the full cab though. Not sure which way that would take the noise level.

Yup they are loud . They claim the wolverine is one of the quietist .. I had a rhino years ago, and I do remember it being louder ...but I wouldn’t say the wolverine is all that much better.
When you look at how a sidexside is built .. with just thin hollow plastic panels everywhere and the engine just inches away from your driving position , I guess some noise is to be expected .
And don’t let the squeeks and rattles bother you either ... there’s lots, including the brakes . Lol . You’ll drive yourself nuts chasing them all down. Just ride it and enjoy .

I would say your full cab is adding to the noise too. Your containing all that engine and drivetrain noise .. where is with an open cab, the wind drowns a lot of it out and some of the sound just dissipates into the open air . I noticed with my x4 just adding a windshield made the engine seem louder because the wind was no longer whipping past my ears drowning it out .

Our X4 is noticeably louder with the soft cab on. Sound deadening material may help.

It's a matter of perspective. Test drive a Teryx4 and it'll cure you of the notion that the X4 is loud.

Yeah I have noticed it's louder with a cab on it. Hard or Soft cab. Still nothing like my Rhino was. That gave me a headache. lol
