    2019 X2 Maintenance costs

    So what are the maintenance costs for the new X2. Considering buying one. So what is the first maintenance cost? And what is the schedule and costs after that?

    Doing it yourself or having the dealer perform it?

    Checking valve clearance is probably the most expensive. As far as maintenance costs vs the competition I can tell you it's going to be much lower. Yamaha parts are made in Japan, not China. 5K miles and I'm still on my original brake pads (not saying this is going to be typical), my CV joints\boots are still good, hell my air filter still looked brand new at 3500 miles. Belt will probably never have to be changed out.

    If you're a mudder, things are going to wear out a lot faster.

    Tell you friends with Polaris that you have a "10,000 Mile Belt Warantee" and watch their face LOL Most can't get 200 on the big units

    my first service was close to 300 i believe. dealer recommended they do the first one. but they should be able to tell you how much it would be.

    ok thanks, $300 is what i was told also. Seems like a lot for the first service. After spending almost $14,000 and then in two weeks fork over another $300...

    If they don't check the valves it would probably be about $150.
