My doors are solid and I never heard of the tailgate rattling on a new machine. Unfortunatly my tailgate is still stuck and won’t open.

Can you unbolt the tailgate cover and see what's the deal inside? Sorry if I'm late to the party on this one. I recently took my cover off and sprayed fluid film over everything. Hopefully that keeps everything moving smoothly.

Thanks for the replys. Mine seems to have too much play between the tailgate and the bump stop which make it rattle. If I wedge something between them it stops.

If you don't mind my asking what did you do to solve the door rattle? I have tried just about everything I could think of and my passenger side door still seems to rattle. Thanks

For the short term I put a felt furniture protector between the hinge and the door. Then (after advise on this forum) I adjusted the top hinge at the frame. Works great.

My X4 had a tailgate rattle. My doors have always been good though. I let them know when I had the first service done and they took care out it. You have to shut it harder now to latch it properly buy I rarely hear it rattle anymore. I think they actually just bent the latching posts in a hair because I have looked it over and there really isn't anything to adjust.
