On second thought you should use the tape and let it burn out then send it back for there lifetime warranty.

Glad you figured it out. I was going to say that it sounded like a whistle. That occurred to me only because the Honda Prelude I used to own did the same thing at certain speeds. It howled like a banshee. Turned out that a small piece of the passenger door weather stripping was just slightly out of place and at certain speeds or when the wind was from a particular angle I heard the music of a thousand untuned flutes.

Ok, Rigid’s dampers came in today. I tried them out adjusted many times and they do NOT work. So I did the YouTube fix which is car edging. For car doors. It works! I added 4 strips where I would think the air would be the most turbulent and put it on. Just a guess. Very pleased. Do not wast money on their dampers. Strike 2 Rigid.

i used to work in the HVAC business and sometimes you would get some wild sounds in aluminum return vents. and someting like a little piece of scotch tape would fix it up. looks like the mount could fit a little better on the roll cage. if it was me and i couldn't move it to a flat spot on the pipe i would grind a little bit of material out of the center of the clamp. or is it from the weight of the light?

The clamps are sitting on the flattest part of the pipe it can. Not much give and take between clearance of the flip windshield, light bar and roof. In the future I’m going to get a set of the Axia Alloy mounts. They seem better quality and heftier. The light bar weighs quite a bit.
