New Owner. Fuel Med RX VS Engine Med RX

New X4 owner here. Just reading through my owners manual and regarding winter storage the manual references "Fuel Med RX" as a fuel additive. Searching Yamaha online (Canada retail) all I come up with is "Engine Med RX". Are they the same product? And are these just fuel stabilizers? (such as 'Sta-Bil', Seafoam, etc).

    Thanks

It's probably referring to the stuff that treats the ethanol in the fuel. The ethanol causes issues when it sits for a while.
There are several brands here that treat it. I've been using a Lucas brand ethanol treatment, along with fuel stabilizer.
Havent run into any issues yet. Use it in all the small engine stuff to.
