    Winch Remote Punchout Plate

    Anybody use the factory punch out plate in the glove box for their wired remote wench plug?

    I've seen people use it for a USB port, but not for the winch. It would work for that though.

    Thats where mine will go too. Actually that is the factory blank for the winch control port. I guess you can put anything there.

    It's where mine went, then the cord and remote fit nice in the cord and remote hole. Right where the wireless remote is in pic.

    I just installed my remote in that location yesterday, had to take the Dremel and bore it out just about 1/16 of an inch but otherwise it fits great.

    Sorry for the delay but here’s a pic. My winch remote won’t fit in the little cubby no matter how tight I roll it. So my tree saw goes there now. Lol.

    I had mine there from the dealer. It's fine if thats a secondary switch. But thats the only switch i have so when plowing i needed to keep the glove box open. Anyway i ended up moving it further into the glove box so i can keep it shut with the cord and remote hanging out.
