Are your front Factory Roof Brackets Installed Incorrectly ?

Is your roof bracket installed correctly? Mine appeared not on my 2019 X2. I did confirm that the vehicles that come with a roof from the factory are actually installed by the dealer upon shipment. When I installed my pop out windshield from Sup-ATV the center sagged in the middle and wouldn't line up flush across the top of the windshield. This was due to the front brackets being upside down. (I Think) It should have been obvious because of the awkward way you have to tighten the bolts into the bracket channel. (Which should be Channel pointing down) Im just curious if any of you guys vehicles were received with the channel bracket up or channel bracket down. The photo shows what I believe is the correct position. At any rate by reversing the bracket channel down this solved my problem and my windshield looks beautiful!

Hey SuperATV ... After watching your youtube videos, I knew something was wrong. It is fairly easy to bend these brackets by pushing up on them, but it was obvious that they were installed incorrectly. Im just curious if other owners have theirs installed wrong. You guys have a great windshield I love mine and its easy to install. Im sort of a profectionist when it comes to these things and absolutely couldn't accept that sagging in the center of the roof line. It looked like a smiley face over the windshield before fixing. Thanks for making a really great product.. worth every penny.

Mine were upside down. Odd thing is my roof sat perfectly level and now it's bowed up so much i couldn't fasten the front-center mount around the cage. Also the corners of the roof are bent up away from the cage and catch limbs like crazy. However, the EMP windshield fits perfectly. Go figure.

Thanks Ken! It seems to be a pretty common issue with the factory roofs. We were scratching our heads for a bit until you and a few other guys on here caught the issue. Thanks again!

I don't know if mine were upside down or what, but I knew they were wrong. I flipped some things around and never could get it right and added some spacers between the bracket and roof. I think my brackets were bent by the dealer.

My X4 definitely does not have any brackets like that. Does anyone else that has an X4 have the bracket?
