I am hoping to wire up my boss radio system this weekend. Then add my Sirius Starmate and it should transmit through the FM Transmitter on the radio like station 87.8 etc.

I have an Onyx portable reciever mounted in the glovebox, I put an antenna on the cage behind the seats, and it plugs into the aux port on my ssv works stereo. Works great

It depends on the area you in. Would probably be great for your area. As an OTR driver I had XM for about 14 years. Ditched it about 5 years ago over the programming getting worse and cost going up. It's works great most of the time, but steep hills and heavy foliage can block the signal and that is everywhere we ride around here. The problem is worse if it raining or the leafs are wet.

I like it, the controls being on the roof are a little awkward but it works good
