No particular reason - just how I decided to run it down. Not a bad idea though.

Sounds like a good option pipping our own music through them. Most bass systems would use too much current to be viable in a off road installation and the amp would be very large supporting it. I personally drive by and through many residential areas, cottages, homes adjacent to the rail bed and other trail systems. The sound level would bother those people I am sure. It wouldn't be a fit for me personally and over riding the 708 engine db level would be a key factor through my helmet. Good for those out in the wide open spaces and where you might stop for picnic/rest and want music as well. As for wiring for engine off power. Add an in dash switch to power the amp when connect to battery power. Its easy to shut off then.

I chose to wire it to the ignition because I have personally experienced a battery drain on an atv and had to jump start after only about 15 minutes of listening to the radio with the engine off. This time I just decided to kill it with the ignition and I'm not tempted haha - but your right a rocker switch in the dash and boom kill switch when needed. Thanks for watching.

Pop the fuse out and put an inline ammeter and see what the idle current its when not playing. I have several digit meters and all have a 10A range which is perfect for testing draw of add on lights and items like this as well. You could also then feed you bluetooth audio to the amp and Slowly turn the volume up and see what the current is a listening volume before exceeding the meters 10A range.

Just an FYI if you're curious. Very simple to do if you already have a meter with DC current range.

I have this exact system in my wolverine rspec and that was a very good and correct review. I like it and after about 7 months, I had 1 speaker that went bad and I contacted the company and they were great to deal with and they sent out a whole new system for free and I haven't had a problem with it at all for the past 5 months or so. Good set for the price for sure!

Awesome - it's good to hear that when you had an issue the company stepped up - in my book good customer service is as important as the product - thanks for watching.
