Just an update on where I mounted the fuse box. See the picture below, the box fit perfectly in the glove compartment. My stereo amp is directly behind the dash. Now I have another question; do I need a second battery? I'm running a stereo, light bar, back up lights, and in the future will be adding an LED whip and a winch. Who here has a lot of electronics added to their set up? I have all my stuff wired up through a battery disconnect kill switch and not on the keyed ignition.
TexasCoyote, I have a light bar, LED pods, reverse lights, dome light, whip, radio, amp, 2-way radio, USB ports and a winch without a second battery. I have over 3000 miles on the original battery and I've never had any issues. I have everything set up through a main relay, so nothing has power when the key is off.

I may be biased, but i like that area for mounting
What about in the area where the tool kit used to be. Not very big, but very easy access.
