Have ridden the Arapeen system 2 different times.
Those are great trails with lots of great overlooks and places to go.
We where there in 2018. Stayed in Manti, Great place to trail head out of.
We got snowed out the last day of riding during the 3rd week of September.
Weather is funny that time of year.
    We also had a 147mile day.....that's a haul.

We booked our cabin through VRBO. The 4 mile drive wasn't bad and honestly it was nice being on the lake.

I was in Newfoundland last year. I had an ATV at the time but didn't take it. I rented a side by side at one of our stops, Pirate's Haven RV Park. Pirate's Haven We loved it there. Here is another link with more information about riding in Newfoundland.

I plan on staying at Pirates Haven to get about 3 days of riding in along with a couple days of touring the island via personal vehicle. As incredible as these photo's are, I have no doubt they do no justice to the actual view.

PapaSkeeta, if you click on the link I posted, it will give you all the info you need. He has broken the trips down to a day by day ride along with GPS tracks and other pertinent info. All that Newfoundland requires is that your machine be insured and registered to your resident state or province.

Pirate's Have is a great place to stop. Paul the owner is very accommodating. Yes the pictures don't do it justice. We're hoping to return in the next couple of years. You're going to love it there!!

Keep in mind that ATV's and side by sides are illegal on the roads in Newfoundland. I don't think the law is strictly enforced however because we saw many on the roads during our three weeks there.

How will this work? There is no registration of sxs s in our state unless they have been made street legal and tagged.
