    Bearclaw HTR's On Stock Rims?

    Hey All:
I'm really confused as to what rims I need for my 2019 X4. (Total newbie to SXS)

I purchased 4 Bearclaw HTR tires. They will be here early next week.
    Sizes: 27x9x12 Front; 27x11x12 Rear

However I still need new rims with the same offset as factory OEM (I think), and I'm not sure if I should get wider rims or not.
I would use the OEM rims (as someone suggested on another thread), but would like to keep them and the tires for future reference.

Per the Owner's Manual, OEM's are:
    Front: 12 x 6.0 AT (Tire: 26x8x12)
    Rear: 12 x 7.5 AT (Tire: 26x10x12)

Not sure what "AT" means (so not sure what the offsets are).
Any suggestions on wheels for the Bearclaws that will fit my 2019 Wolverine X4??

    Let's just say I'm baffled!

The split sizing works best on stock wheels. You may want to see what comes up used. About the best you can do aftermarket would be 12x7 for the front and a 12x8 for the rear. There are very few options once you get away from the 7" wide wheels. This was what I came up with quickly. https://www.summitracing.com/oh/sear...rder=Ascending Not sure if 4" BS works on the x4.

I would return the 27x11 tires, get 2 more 27x9 and 4 7" wide wheels then run the same tire and rim all around.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I can't return the 27x11's.

Does anybody know if a 4" backspace will work on the X4?

It may be tough to find aftermarket wheels with the same offset as the factory wheels, particularly in 12" dia. as the selection is quite limited verses 14" dia.
Maybe you can find a set of factory take-offs to use. IIRC the front offset is something like 4.5-1.5 and the rears 4.5-3.0

I just mounted the exact same size/make tires (Bearclaw HTR 27x9x12 & 27x11x12) on my factory beadlock wheels (2017 Gen1 S.E.) which I believe are the same size as the X4 wheels.
They fit fine and work great. I was afraid the narrow rims might cause the profile to be too round, but the are not.

I like the concept of 27" tires on 12" wheels. It provides a lot more sidewall depth for buffer at low pressure than 14" wheels.
And I personally like the look as well - I like to see tire not wheel when I look at an off-road vehicle.

With all the people switching to 14" aftermarket wheels, I would think take-offs would not be hard to find. Good luck.

Plenty of take offs on ebay. Here is a set of 4 factory beadlocks. https://www.ebay.com/itm/16-Yamaha-W...ry!44306!US!-1

Not able to make a reasonable deal on a couple of sets of OEM rims on Ebay, I decided to swap the new 27" tires with the factory 26"' on my rims. I found a 12x6 OEM rim on Ebay at a reasonable price, and bought an additional 27x9x12 Bear Claw for use a spare (which I can temporarily use on the front or back as needed).

    Thanks again for the help!

Can you confirm that the HTRs (27-9-12 in front and 27-11-12 rear) fit on the OEM stock rims?

I'm looking for a direct swap onto the stock front and rear rims without spacers, purchasing take-off rim etc.

RileyRott - do you have a pic of them installed? I'm sure they look sweet.

    Cheers
