    2016 seat belt adjusters

    Possibly 2017 also.

My belts have always been really hard to adjust and just keep getting worse. I have found 2 solutions.

    1. 2018 belts. YXZ, Wolverine, and Viking all share the same belts, not sure about the X4. These slide great. There is no difference between driver and passenger side, you just have to spin the hardware on the belt.

    2. After putting a 2018 belt in my passenger side (side that gets moved the most) I decided there must be something that can done to the originals. Turns out its very simple. Pop off the red cover and there is fine spring under it. Throw it away, pop the cover back on. It's not as good as 2018 belt, but it's a huge improvement.

I'll have to give that a try, those belts are just a pain to adjust.

I have no idea why Yamaha put that style slide on a retractable belt. I have only seen them used on old belts that had no other adjustment. Either way they decided it was not needed on the newer belts.
